Custom video settings – Reve AI

When creating a video on Reve you can choose from different custom settings to realize your exact creative vision.

To access and edit all custom video settings, click the Landscape option in the bottom right of the chat interface. Changing your settings will impact how many video seconds are used per video. For more information on energy usage see our plans overview article .

Video orientation

You can choose between Landscape (16:9) and Portrait (9:16) mode.

Note that Reve does not support video in Square (1:1) and Portrait mode is only available for Video from frames or prompt. When creating video from references you can only select Landscape.

Video duration

The default duration of videos is 8 seconds, but you can customize this in the chat interface. 4 seconds is the minimum and 8 seconds is the maximum duration.

Sound

You can decide if you want your video to include sound.

You cannot add your own custom sound to videos. The sound will be generated for you.

Resolution

Video resolution will be set to 720p by default, but you can update this to 1080p.

Model

Reve uses Veo 3.1 as our default model for video generation. You can update this to Veo 3.1 Fast if preferred.

Veo 3.1 produces higher quality output, but takes longer to generate. Best when you want the most polished result closer to your exact vision.

Veo 3.1 Fast gives you quicker generations but may sacrifice some detail or refinement. Good for rapid iteration or when you're exploring ideas and want to see results quickly.
